About The Corner Book Shop

Home / About The Corner Book Shop

For many years, the Friends have received donations of used books and media from the community and sold them at competitive prices in the Library. Most of our books sell for about 10% of the original price. From the beginning the aim has been to get affordable books into the hands of all who want to read. Since BFOL volunteers manage and staff the Shop, expenses are minimal and nearly 100% of revenue goes to KCLS to sponsor library programs and enhance services offered by Bellevue Libraries to its patrons. While you may find a retired library book among the offerings, our stock consists entirely of pre-loved items donated by the community that we hope find their way into new homes to be enjoyed all over again.

We accept books, DVDs, CDs and more! CLICK HERE for a complete list of items we accept.

The Shop is open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm, with extended hours on Thursday until 7 pm, and on Sunday from 1 pm to 4 pm. The Shop is located on the main floor of Bellevue Library at the top of the stairs from the underground parking level and opposite the elevator. Please bring donations to the Shop during open hours. If you have a particularly large donation, please contact us at (425)450-2446 or email bellevuefriends(at)gmail(dot)com.
