Bellevue Friends of the Library Home Page

Who are the Friends?

The Bellevue Friends of the Library are a group of dedicated volunteers who, since 1957, have promoted literacy and enhanced the goals of the libraries in Bellevue. Their focus has grown from the Bellevue Library to include the Lake Hills Library and the Library Connection @ Crossroads.

The Friends Support:

  • Children's Story Times and Puppet Shows
  • Summer Reading Programs
  • Teen Workshops
  • Shakespeare and Opera Programs
  • Book Discussion Groups
  • Job Training Seminars
  • Guest Author Events
  • Book Give-Aways
  • and more!
Funds are raised through memberships and revenue from The Corner Book Shop.

Become a Friend

Becoming a Friend is very easy!

Print the membership form using this link and return it with your dues to your Bellevue Library or mail it in ... and you're a Friend!

You will receive invitations to special events and meet other Friends. There are opportunities to volunteer your services in the Corner Book Shop and its Marking Room in the Bellevue Library. Special training is provided for these positions.
