WHO WE ARE
Bellevue Friends of the Library is a registered, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We have about 300 members of all ages from all sections of our diverse community who are passionate about the value of our libraries. The library is the one place where there is access for all to a world of facts and ideas and to creations of the intellect and the imagination that educate, sustain, inspire and delight. We support the Bellevue Libraries as places that enrich our community as they bring us together in the pursuit of lifelong learning. Join us!
WHAT WE DO
Since 1957, the Bellevue Friends of the Library have worked to raise awareness and encourage community involvement in one of our most valuable resources – our libraries. Revenue from our fundraising events contributes to the programs and services that the Bellevue libraries offer to their patrons. We host gatherings for our members and volunteers and organize several used book sales annually. We also have used books for sale at affordable prices year round in our volunteer-staffed Corner Book Shop in Bellevue Library, and we make used books available in the Friends’ Book Corner at Lake Hills Library. Our books are donations from the community. Check out our Corner Book Shop. Find out about our many volunteer opportunities and how you can support the work of the Friends.
