Shakespeare Series: The Tempest (Week 2)
January 27, 2023 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
The Shakespeare Series is back! Join us as we explore William Shakespeare’s The Tempest, every Friday from 10:30-12:30 starting January 20 through February 17. Theatre director and Shakespeare scholar, Leah Adcock-Starr, will facilitate the discussion and share her insights. Bring a copy of the play and follow along.
This Shakespeare series will be offered as a hybrid event, i.e., simultaneously in-person at the Bellevue Library and online via Zoom. Please register for each week of the five-week series. You are welcome to mix and match in-person and online registrations over the course of the five weeks. Contact the Bellevue Library if you need assistance.
- Registration for in-person presentation (Walk-ins welcome as space allows.)
- Registration for online presentation (Please register at least one day before the event. Check your email for a program Zoom link one day prior to the event.)
Reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities is available by request. Please contact the library at least seven days before the event for ASL interpretation, captioning services and/or other accommodation for online programs. Send your request to access@kcls.org.
This series on The Tempest is being funded by a donation to the Bellevue Friends of the Library by the estate of Arthur Morrill. Art loved Shakespeare and he loved the opportunity to keep on learning after his retirement. The Bellevue Friends of the Library are grateful for the generosity of his estate.
